DO WHAT I DID:

FIRST:

Oven bake a tray of chips.

THEN you will need:

3 tablespoons of cornflour made into a slurry with 3 tablespoons of water – in a mug or something.

6 tablespoons of Buttery Nuttelex
1/4 cup of plain flour
1 cup of vegan beef stock
1/2 cup vegan chicken stock
White pepper, to taste.

SO YOU CAN make the gravy:

In a medium saucepan, on a medium heat, melt the veeg margarine. Add the flour and cook, stirring regularly, for a few mins.

Add the notreallyrealbeef and notreallyrealchicken stock and bring to a boil, stirring with a whisk. Stir in the cornflour slurry and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

Season with pepper.

Taste and add more salt, if that will float your goat.

THEN:

Put your cooked chips in an oven dish, season with salt and cracked pepper, add a generous amount of mild vegan cheese (I used Sheese Mozzarella), drown in gravy and stick back in oven for a few minutes until the cheese softens.
